Chantel Elaine Day is a certified public accountant with over two decades of extensive accounting experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University. She began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”, formerly “Price Waterhouse”).
There she performed external audits, acquisition and divestiture support, and special project implementation for Fortune 500 companies in banking and manufacturing. Following her stay in public accounting, she worked for BASF Corporation, a large multinational specialty chemical company, where she performed fraud investigations as well as conducted operational, compliance and financial audits. She then transitioned to the financial services and banking industry where she obtained over ten years of banking experience working for Bank of America and J.P. Morgan Chase.
An entrepreneur at heart, she left corporate America and started Trinity Certified Public Accountants, Inc., a full-service accounting firm. Chantel is also the Founder and Executive Director of TripleFit, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, whose primary mission is to combat the adverse impacts of financial distress on physical and emotional wellbeing through financial literacy and other educational programming. Chantel also applies her practical knowledge in the classroom by serving as an adjunct professor at Stetson University where she teaches Managerial and Financial Accounting courses.
Chantel is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).
Chantel is the loving wife of Dr. Pepper Day and the proud mother of two daughters, Autumn and Sage.
